Herbal Soaps
All of our soaps are made from glycerin soap bases with some oils already incorporated. We then add some of our own organic herbs we grow on our farm as well as essential oils that we purchase from health food stores. A glycerin soap base is especially kind to troubled skin, and with a little touch of fresh or dried herbs, essential oils and other ingredients, herbal soaps can be very fun and beneficial.

Making Insecticidal Soap
Mix 1 cup of vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of Liquid Dish Soap together. Mix 2 teaspoons of this concentrate with 1 cup water spray. On delicate flowers you might want to test this first to make sure it doesn't burn them. This recipe is generally helpful on soft-bodied insects like aphids, spider-mites, etc. There is a commercial product called Safer Insecticidal soap that is fairly good.
