Welcome to our Produce section. We specialize in naturally grown produce
with 90% of the varieties we offer being heirloom. Heirlooms are seeds saved from the past, a few seeds at a time,
among family members and friends for generations. Heirlooms are grown for only one attribute and that is taste;
hybrids are bred for color, size and the ability to be shipped long distances
to markets. Heirloom plants are a connection with the past. Like old
furniture and antiques, the garden plants of earlier generations draw us close
to those who have grown them before us.
