Welcome
to our Annuals Section. In doing research in the types of flowers we
wanted to grow our interest was directed toward
antique and heirloom flowers. In other words, the types of flowers your
grandma used to grow in her flower garden. In this fast-paced world there are a lot of
things being left behind in the shuffle and one of
them is the older varieties of flowers. We have learned that one of the reasons these
flowers have stood the test of time is because of
their hardiness. They tend to have a natural disease
resistance, are very adaptable to most conditions
and they most definitely have a much more intense
fragrance than the modern hybrids. We hope you learn something about the past
and who knows, you might just see that flower you
remember growing in your grandmothers garden!!!
